Word from the Director

Rohi children organization is non profit, non governmental and a non denomination Christian organization. The organization has a foundation rehabilitating and caring for orphan, destitute and vulnerable children in Kenya. Since the beginning of the organization, we have laid emphasis in admitting total orphans and former street children.

Rohi organization believes in making a total change in the lives of the children and their immediate family. This will in turn bring a change at national and at the international level. The organization uses education as a major tool in bringing a change in the lives of these children. The organization has two schools; primary and high school. Both schools offer an education environment and a standard home environment for these children.

The organization also uses co curriculum activities such as sports, agriculture and clubs as tools to bring a change in the children. Above all, the students are involved in the mission, Christian union meetings and devotion to instill a Christian value in their lives. Moreover, counseling is of great essence in their lives, therefore counseling is done frequently during the day as part of the program.

The environment is created by a group of dedicated staff from diverse training and talent. The society too has a hand in the work as we work together in the various outreaches. This helps in training the children social skill. Moreover, the interns, missionary and visiting groups from within and without the country are part of this great commission of helping these children. Moreover, the donors and friends who assist the organization with funds and prayers are of great importance to the organization

In bringing a change to the community, the organization is involved in reaching the street children in the street of Nakuru by giving food counseling, health check and sharing the word of God. The organization also visit guardian in order to appreciate and relate with the guardians. Further, missions are done in different area in order to preach and give moral support to the society.

In effort to sustain the organization, the sustainability department works in the growing of farm produce and keeping of animals which is used in the schools. The department works at reducing over dependency on donors.
