What we believe…

Rohi Children’s Organization exists to serve children of God that have little other opportunity for hope and a successful future. We believe:

  • that to whom much has been given, much will be expected.
  • that every created person is worthy of a chance to become all they are capable of being.
  • that the Biblical mandate found in James 1:27: “religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress” refers to orphans all over the world including Kenya, Africa.
  • that with care, encouragement and opportunity, these children are capable of not only becoming contributing members of their community, but of changing their country and world for the better.

Biblical Princibles

  • that the Bible is the only infallible, authoritative, inerrant Word of God.
  • that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  • that Jesus Christ, though full God, became a man for the suffering of death.
  • that He is the promised Messiah, who provided for the atonement of our sins by His vicarious death on the Cross.
  • that He was bodily resurrected by the power of the Holy Spirit, ascended back to the right hand of God the Father and ever lives to make intercession for us.
  • that mankind is by nature corrupted by sin, but we can receive love and forgiveness, and begin to love one another and look forward to eternal life with our resurrected Lord.
  • that this salvation is by grace, through faith, in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross.
