The most spectacular thing at Rohi Children Organization is that we are build on the immovable firm foundation of our Lord Jesus Christ; a Christian foundation. Not only that but we are also keen and serious on the true Christian doctrine which we teach and practice. Christ Jesus is the central core of every fiber of all our faculties. As true Christians we have a lively faculty in respect to the great commission, “the mission outreach”.
Every August holiday there is an outreach to the zones of the less fortunate (where some of our children come from). Other minor missions are done in the course of the year to strengthen local churches and the communities around us.
The Chaplain’s office ensures that every department within Rohi enjoys and participates in their prayers and devotions on a weekly basis. Our teaching staff in our schools, our administration, our construction crews, our security personnel, and our cooks enjoy these privileges.
Students have their daily devotions and weekly moments of service known as “Christian Union” service. Every Sunday we have a spirit-filled, combined service for both Primary and High School children. Later in the afternoon, on Sundays, a team of students and staff go for outreach in the streets of Nakuru town. Here in NyayoGarden (the center of town) we conduct StreetChurch where street families are fed both the word of God and a plate of food.
Once a term we hold a joint service at the RohiPrimary School where all our staff and their families join the students for Sunday service. This is known as Rohi Family Service and it is an exciting one.
